I regret to say that, not only Jose Padilla, but the American justice has much to repent of in its proceedings. It's all the contrary to justice, at least it has been in many cases, and what's happening in Guantanamo is a living proof of what I say.
Not a system of Justice to be taken as example.
The symptoms described are consistent with the abuse reported.
Supposedly, they took interrogation techniques used in SERE training, intended for TRAINING USE ONLY by competent instructors for limited periods of time in a controlled training environment, and allowed poorly-trained civilian contractors to use those techniques for extended periods of time.
Bush is just giving ammunition to the "hate-America-first" crowd.
