Suppose that ordinary people when they absolutely don't need some cash, or in the UK to go to the doctor, stay strictly away from "government." Suppose that in general people "in government" are viewed with mingled pity and contempt, and that it is widely perceived that all of this "governance" is mainly about the entertainment needs of people who can't easily amuse themselves. In other words, suppose that the situation is as it actually is. Then in fact, no one "in" government is in control, not of events nor of us, and least of all of their own momentary impulses and notions. These people who do not work for a living in other words are just like us, only /not/ ridden down by the chronic resentment and rage at having to pay constantly not only for their own Tee Vee and Internet subscriptions, but for all of these other people's excitement as well. So, when are we going stop writing checks we can't afford and, as an adult matter, rightly resent?Bodwyn Wookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04152813177593209096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580535460030164028.post-48262617720697945832009-04-04T07:36:00.000+00:002009-04-04T07:36:00.000+00:00If it is the taxpayers, then we would have to pose...If it is the taxpayers, then we would have to pose ourselves a question: Aren't the taxes we are paying excessive?

I also think that the printing machines in our states' minting premises must be very active these days. (Ferret Ball and fiance are about 250 miles to the West of these.) I have NOT sown any alfalfa and oats yet, but the baby tomatoes are all sprouting up to beat Hell. And we're going to shear the Bare Handful (my Cheviot ewes) next week or so.. Tuesday wek I think. The only nice thing about that is the lanolin does clear up the Winter cracks around my fingernails.
