Gee, Officer Krupke.......

If I may emulate Ken Frost on Nanny Knows Best, I hereby award my Solemn Noodle of the Year prize to Plymouth's Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton who, when asked to clarify the nature of material seized in the recent "terrorist" arrests, sagely observed that

"It's political, it relates to political organisations, it's not extreme but it's a different political view. It leads to motives and things like that."

Whoever would have thought it?

Anti, you better tell Zola to move further north before Netherton of the Paul variety gets his number.

Worse still, Wookie should be taking refuge in the forest with Ted Nugent and a couple of crossbows at this very minute.

Wook is a longbow sort of sod. No sh-t, I'll nail 'em from the shady depths of the open barndoor. And then there's the good old Webley and my hoard of .455 reloads, ka-BLAM!

No need to move further north. I have an ample supply of reindeer droppings ready for me ballista.
Bring em on.

Anyway since when was it any different we ask.

Since when was it any different?

My memory is not so long.

In the mindset of authority and its minions those who hold different opinions, or who are rash enough to read "unacceptable" views, are anti-social enemies of the people.

Yes, Anticant. The old saying "you are with me or against me" is a very much used exhaust valve these days.
