I am off to Wisconsin in the ack-emma, on a business trip to Green Bay, and so sent in me absentee ballot on the Friday. For a wonder, there was a Libertarian candidate for President, and another for the US Senate also, so I could vote in good conscience after all! And, so, I didn't mind giving a nod to freshman Democrat Congressman Mr Tim Walz, he taught some of my ex-wife's kids at Mankato West High School and is a pretty good egg -- and, he ain't been in long enough yet to have become a complete thief & sonofabitch, so I shall have to vote "agin" him, next time!....

'jaded, well'n'goodie'?

Sounds like the name of a law firm which will contest the result if Obama gets in.

A man was caught trying to climb the fence of the White House yesterday.

Secret Service agents rushed over and seized him.

"We're sorry," they told him, "but you can't leave yet, Mr President..."

I can't stop laughing, Ben trovato.

Needless to say, although as a Libertarian I did not vote for him, I am delighted by the Obama presidential win.

There are grave problems with the overdone and lunatic, hypermaniac, american presidency, and I only hope that Mr Obama will not sink from view too soon, in the slime & and non-productive credentiallist clutches of the career apparatchiks & think tank piranhas....
